Course Closing Ceremony Successfully Held in Kharmang

A grand closing ceremony for a 6-month Sewing &
Stitching Course for women was held at Sharba Skills Development Center,
organized by Sharba Foundation in Village Ghasing, District Kharmang.
This event was a significant step toward empowering women with skills and
enabling them to earn a dignified livelihood.
The ceremony was attended by local religious scholars,
community elders, and a large number of women, reflecting the program's
importance and success. Participants praised the dedication of the students and
the performance of the institution.
Speakers highlighted the welfare services of Sharba
Foundation, stating that the organization is not only teaching women valuable
skills but also playing a key role in making them economically independent. The
establishment of the Skills Development Center was recognized as a major
milestone, having already provided hundreds of women with dignified livelihood
opportunities.
Participants extended heartfelt gratitude to Sharba
Foundation's generous donor, Mr. Ali Mohsin, whose financial support has
kept this initiative running successfully. Special prayers were offered in his
honour and his contributions were warmly appreciated.
It is worth noting that this was the 4th batch of the
Sharba Skills Development Center, whose students successfully completed the
6-month course. During this period, they were trained in sewing, embroidery,
and various practical skills that will help them achieve self-employment in the
future.
This program stands as a clear example that when the right
steps are taken at the grassroots level, women can be empowered and positive
change can be brought to society.
In closing, Sharba Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to
continuing such welfare initiatives in the future, with the goal of equipping
more women with skills and enabling them to become truly self-sufficient.
